Fire Protection Services

Although water mist systems have been around for over half a century it is only within the last few years that the UK fire protection services have started to specify and install them as an effective substitute for many of the gas extinguishing systems.

The directors at Water Mist ( Fire) Technologies Limited have been working within the fire protection services for a joint total of 65 years during which time have seen many changes. Perhaps though the most significant, is the development of water mist technology. There is a huge demand and many suppliers are providing adequate off-the-shelf solutions. We go one step further by not only designing and supplying what we have found to be the best products, but by constantly improving these with our in house engineering and local testing facilities.

By concentrating totally on water mist systems we are able to provide the UK fire protection services with a first class service in the design, supply, installation and commissioning.

Fire Sprinkler Systems

Water mist systems are not generally offered as a substitute for fire sprinkler systems but as a 'bolt on supplement' for areas where a more specialist system is required.

Where water mist systems can be designed for total extinguishing on certain risks, fire sprinkler systems are designed as a fire suppression system.

The UK fire protection services are beginning to integrate water mist systems and fire sprinkler systems to provide safe, effective and 'green' fire control and extinguishing systems.
